Emerging markets are experiencing transformative changes as digital technologies and green transitions converge, creating new opportunities and challenges. This special issue examines how the integration of digital infrastructure with low-carbon energy systems affects economic performance, financial markets, and development outcomes in emerging economies, addressing questions of regulatory alignment, financial constraints, and equitable access to resources.

The issue seeks theoretical and empirical research on how digital-green transformation influences macroeconomic dynamics, investment flows, trade patterns, and policy design in emerging markets. Research should explore mechanisms linking technological advancement and environmental imperatives while considering implications for inclusive growth, financial systems, competitiveness, and institutional frameworks across diverse emerging market contexts.
